L.J.'S MULE DEER HUNTS
Archery mule deer season here in New Mexico opens September 1st and runs thru September 24th. This time of year the mule deer are still in the velvet. Making the mule deer very gentle and easy to get up on. Also we have a late archery mule deer season, January 1st - 15th, 2008. This time of year the mule deer are heavy in the rut. What a great time to add a trophy mule deer to your collection.
Muzzleloader mule deer starts October 25th thru 29th, 2008.
Rifle mule deer seasons for 2008 are November 1st thru the 5th and November 8th thru the 12th. Both are good hunts.

L.J.'S ELK HUNTS

Archery elk season starts September 1st and runs thru September 24th. Archery elk the bulls are in the rut. L.J. hunts his clients off of tree stands, over active wallows, fence crossings, water holes and of course by calling the bull elk right up in your lap. If you have ever wanted the experience of seeing a bull elk up close this hunt is for you.
Muzzleloader elk season is in mid October and late November. What a great hunt ! This has been a primitive weapons only unit. So the elk have a tendency to be bigger.
Rifle elk season is in October. The elk are still squealing a little, but not enough to call them in that's where outfitter L.J. Armstrong's expertise comes in . He spends countless hours keeping track of the elk so you can have a memorable hunt.
All Hunts are first class and fair chase. We furnish the food, tents , cots, pads and pillows. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, weapon and your license. Elk hunts are on a draw basis, if you would like to receive an application for 2008 please let us know.
